This course prepares technical administrators, application developers, and technical consultants to extend the functionality of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search through the use of various plug-ins. The student will learn how to build custom plug-ins such as the Crawler, Identity, and Authorization plug-ins implementing the Oracle Secure Enterprise Search APIs, so that new sources can be securely crawled and searched. The student will also learn about the two ways of using the secure federation - SES to SES Federation and the Suggested content that Oracle SES provides.

	Discuss Oracle Secure Enterprise Search Plug-ins and APIs, including common use cases
	List the three phases of implementing Oracle Secure Enterprise Search crawler plug-ins: Design, Develop, and Deploy
	Customize and deploy sample crawler plug-ins for file system, and LDAP directory crawling
	Discuss the steps to build a custom Oracle Secure Enterprise Search Identity plug-in
	Discuss the steps to register a new Identity plug-in
	Discuss the steps to build Oracle Secure Enterprise Search Authorization plug-in that includes Query Filter plug-in
	Discuss different APIs such as Web Services and URL Rewriter APIs
	Discuss Secure Federated Search that includes SES-to-SES Federation and the Suggestd Content
